Before you ship

Do these 3 things and everything stays clean & trackable.

Start with a quick quote so we know what’s coming and can advise on packing/insurance.
Label everything (your name + phone number on a note inside the box is perfect).
Make a simple item list (example: “12 VHS, 3 Hi8, 1 photo album”). Put one copy in the box.

Packing checklist

Protect the irreplaceable stuff.

Use a sturdy box (new or heavy-duty). Avoid thin “moving boxes.”
Pad all sides (2–3 inches of bubble wrap or packing paper on every side).
Bag or wrap media (zip bags or plastic wrap) to reduce moisture and dust exposure.
Fill empty space so nothing shifts when the box is shaken.
Seal well with packing tape on all seams (H-tape method: center seam + both edges).

Shipping options

Tracking is non-negotiable.

Carrier: UPS or USPS are both fine. Pick what’s easiest for you.
Tracking: Always ship with tracking.
Signature: Recommended for higher-value shipments.
Insurance: We recommend insuring for a value you’re comfortable with (talk to us if you’re unsure).
